“We came to Waco for the Silos and the KU/Baylor game and couldn’t have had a better experience. We got there a few hours early to park a s then head to the Silos. Patti came out to greet us and was extremely warm and friendly. We got a note that we were actually able to check in an hour early and came to find the home extremely clean, smelled so wonderful and fresh with delicious cookies waiting for us. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of shopping and football. It is just as described, only a few blocks away from the Silos and other cute shops. It is also just a few steps away from a Panera that made getting breakfast super quick and easy. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house beautifully designed and decorated. It was the perfect place to have dinner ordered in and visit/relax with family. No doubt we will be back, but for longer next time.”

Inside, we found a handwritten note, fresh flowers and cookies. Thoughtful considerations were also discovered in delightfully scented soaps, a wonderful selection of local magazines and books, supremely comfortable beds and inviting spaces indoors and out. Combined, each amenity served to pamper us. Absolutely no detail was spared. It felt great to be able to walk from the cottage to Magnolia Market early in the morning and discover The Findery, a shop filled with amazing home decor and fashions, along the way. Overall, we found this trip inspiring. Perhaps the highest recommendation I can give is that we arrived weary and left refreshed.”

“Absolutely amazing! My wife and I traveled down to Waco for her birthday. I originally got Avenues of Waco because some friends were supposed to join us but it ended up just being the two of us. The house was absolutely perfect!! Walking distance to the Magnolia Silos and downtown Waco so there is no stress from hunting for parking! “This home is the greatest find in Waco TX. Spent the weekend with Some special people celebrating friendship for my 60th birthday. The accommodations are perfect and located in the middle of great shopping and restaurants. My favorite part of the weekend though was “staying in” for girl time. The house was immaculate, beds comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen gorgeous. Oh, and the house smells wonderful but not “perfumy”. Every time we came home we all commented on the beautiful fragrance. My girlfriends I traveled from San Diego to Waco for my 40th birthday. Avenues of Waco impressed us as soon as we pulled into the driveway; and we were blown away when we walked inside. The house is impeccable with attention to every detail. All 8 of us slept comfortably and commented on how wonderful the house was. The owners were attentive and responsive, with excellent communication and service. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Magnolia Silos; and I would recommend Avenues of Waco to anyone who is planning a trip to Waco.”

“Avenues of Waco is CHARMING; decorated beautifully by caring hosts and in a perfect location for Baylor activities, Magnolia visits, or any Waco-area activities! Information regarding our upcoming stay was plentiful and responses were immediate to any questions I had. I booked almost a year ahead of time for Baylor graduation weekend and the hosts replied quickly and thoughtfully to every question I had over the several months before we arrived. Check-in and out was a breeze and the house was furnished with perfect touches such as chocolate chip cookies, fresh flowers, crisp comfortable linens, and a sweet welcome note from Patti, who also spent extra time searching for, finding, and sending back a very special piece of jewelry I inadvertently left in the house. That type of kindness is rare and so very appreciated! We utilized the large backyard for the festivities we hosted and everyone loved the open space with ample parking. I’m so sad that my daughter graduated so we won’t be back in Waco and able to stay at Avenues of Waco in the near future. Thank you for being a perfect host! The house instructions were simple and easy to understand. The location was PERFECT. We walked 2-3 minutes to get to the Silos. We fell in love with the cutest store (besides Magnolia Market) called The Findery on the way to the Silos. They have designed a beautiful home for guests from all over the world to enjoy! The owners responded to all questions (before and during our stay) within minutes and couldn’t have been more accommodating. “Very comfortable house, with nice decorating throughout. They even had cookies and fresh flowers waiting for us! The house looks like something you’d find on Fixer Upper. We cooked breakfast, and found everything we needed in order to do so. Their communication was very timely, and the check in process was seamless. The only downsides were the dog barking next door in the middle of the night, and sounds of the city such as sirens during the night. Also, our friends who stayed in the queen bed said that the mattress sank in and they rolled to the middle of it. Overall a great house and I would stay there again.”

I love being able to use the Apple TV, made it easy for our kids to watch from their iPhones. The owners have these cute notes around the house with instructions about a variety of things. It’s a nice touch. Location is great. We walked to campus to enjoy all the Baylor homecoming activities. It’s also really close to the silos if you want to do that. House is very cute and spacious! We spent a lot of time in the living room and large open kitchen mingling with family and friends. Already planning our next trip!”

It’s walking distance to a few restaurants, though I didn’t feel safe walking around after dark. Fire pit outside was fun for making s’mores and the Apple TV in the living room was a nice addition.”
